Recognizing the challenges of housing affordability and accessibility in Hawaii, the University committed to providing employees with affordable housing options near the campus, developing 388 units of units.
Key objectives of the project, spear headed and overseen by Jared Everett prior to joining Pinnacle, include ensuring affordability, proximity to campus, and quality amenities. The housing units will be priced competitively to accommodate the diverse income levels of employees and will be conveniently located near the university campus, reducing commute times and enhancing work-life balance.
The university will incorporate sustainable design principles into the construction and management of the housing units, promoting energy efficiency and minimizing environmental impact. By addressing the housing needs of its employees, the University of Hawaii has already had an impact on recruitment and retention efforts, fostering a sense of community, and contributing to the overall well-being and satisfaction of its workforce.
